I will set a goal to actively evaluate every day any new tasks or opportunities that arise in my life. In doing this I will make a decision to say “yes” or “no” to it dependent on how it aligns with my values and time schedule. Alternatively, I will ask for help if I feel overwhelmed or ask for an extension of time and schedule it later.

- Buy Yourself Time: When someone requests your time or involvement, gracefully communicate that you will review your schedule to assess feasibility. This practice allows you to make informed decisions and buy yourself the necessary time to respond thoughtfully.
- Set Boundaries: Establish clear boundaries by confidently saying "no" to non-essential commitments and distractions. Protect your time and energy by setting limits on tasks that do not align with your priorities. When feeling overwhelmed, seek assistance rather than dwelling on an overwhelming workload.
- Find the True Deadline: Challenge external deadlines by evaluating their true urgency. Consider the consequences if a deadline is not met and ascertain the actual impact. Request deadline extensions when necessary, aligning them with genuine deadlines that hold significance and influence outcomes.
