By making fruit your go-to snack, you unlock the power of a delicious and nutritious habit. With its natural sweetness and low calorie content, it helps you satisfy your cravings while maintaining a healthy weight. Get ready to uncover even more inspiring benefits ahead, but first, let's set your fruit goal and experience the positive impact it has on your weight loss journey.

Goal

For the next month, eat at least 2 servings of fruit per day. One serving of fruit is typically considered to be: 1 medium-sized piece of fruit (e.g. an apple, banana, orange), or 1/2 cup of chopped fruit (e.g. berries, pineapple). Check out the General Health Recommendation for Fruit Consumption to learn more about why we set this goal.

Goals

Implementation

Achieve your fruit goal with the help of these 4 simple steps:

  1. Buy fresh fruits every time you go to the store.
  2. Put the fruits in sight in a fruit basket in your home or office. In this way you will be reminded to eat fruit when you are hungry.
  3. Set an intention to eat fruit during certain moments of the day. Add a serving to your breakfast, take one with you as a snack, or grab one when you're feeling hungry.
  4. Don't let the idea of preparing fruit scare you off. Most fruits only require a quick wash and others you can learn to prepare efficiently in no time.
